The group began its work in the agricultural industry in 1989 with the cultivation and management of coffee plantations. In October 1998 Plante was born, as the company and the mother brand of all agricultural projects. Plante takes control of the agro-industry & manufacturing part of the group and inaugurates a new project of exploitation of natural rubber in the form of latex.

Currently, Plante is responsible for the cultivation, exploitation and sale of natural rubber in all its forms; the breeding and selling of fresh river tilapia; and the cultivation, processing and future sale of cacao. It also works on new projects that, in a short term, will enrich the portfolio of products offered. Among the main ones are 1. the manufacture of finished products, for wholesale mass consumption, related to the raw materials produced and 2. the breeding and selling of chickens for food consumption.
